New Year’s Eve Party Cruise on the Louisiana Star
We’ve all been there: it’s the same every year – Christmas is over, and suddenly New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, completely out of the blue, and the question arises once again: where are we actually going to celebrate?
How about on board our paddle steamer, the Louisiana Star?! Because when the Port of Hamburg celebrates New Year’s Eve, our fleet becomes a stage on the River Elbe.
Two DJs will provide the perfect soundtrack for this last night of the year. You can look forward to live sets featuring house and deep house, as well as the finest club sounds. Right from the moment we cast off, a party mix awaits you that’ll ensure absolutely no one can stand still.
During the 4-hour New Year’s Eve Party Cruise, we’ll sail right across the Port of Hamburg, past the harbour cranes – which look even more futuristic in the bright light of the fireworks – and along the Hamburg skyline. We promise you: the Port of Hamburg takes on a whole new atmosphere on New Year’s Eve.
There are two ticket categories for this event:
VIP Ticket
With the VIP Ticket, you’ll get a reserved seat with a table in the upper deck of the ship. Finger food is also included in the ticket price. The VIP ticket is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the evening in a bit more comfort whilst still being right in the thick of the New Year’s Eve atmosphere on board.
Open Ticket
With the Open Ticket, you’re free to move about in the lower deck of the ship, where the stage and dance floor are located. There are no fixed seats or reserved tables here. Of course, with the Open Ticket you can also go up to the open deck and enjoy the view of the Port of Hamburg and the fireworks from there. The Open Ticket is ideal for anyone who wants to focus on dancing, celebrating and experiencing the party right by the stage.
Just in time for the big fireworks display, we’ll position ourselves in pole position right in the thick of the action, so you’ll have the best view of Hamburg’s night sky. From the open decks or the saloon, you’ll have an unobstructed view of the colourful fireworks over the Landungsbrücken. At midnight, raise a glass of sparkling wine in front of the festively lit Elbphilharmonie or dance to the beats of our DJs.
But the evening doesn’t end with the final bang: afterwards, the party continues on the dance floor.
Cruise schedule:
Boarding: 9.00 pm – 9.30 pm
Cruise: 9.30 pm – 1.30 am
Disembarkation: 1.30 am – 2.00 am
Drinks and snacks are not included but can be purchased on board during the cruise. You are not permitted to bring your own food or drinks. Please note that, unfortunately, pets of any kind are not allowed on board.
Admission to the event is restricted to those aged 18 and over.
