Join us and Maximilian Pollux for a thrilling experience on board.
We’ll take you on a harbour tour packed with thrills and literary entertainment!
Maximilian Pollux, a former repeat offender and now a successful anti-violence trainer, author, podcaster and speaker, will be presenting his latest book, *Dangerous Ego: When Narcissism Ends in Death*, on board the Commodore.
During the approximately 2-hour tour through the Port of Hamburg, he’ll read exclusive excerpts from 12 true-crime cases. He’ll discuss the role of narcissistic personality traits in the context of serious crimes and, together with you, analyse the background and dynamics of each case.
Pollux, who spent a total of just under ten years in prison, has a unique perspective on the case histories: how does so-called malignant narcissism manifest itself, and why is it linked to the commission of criminal offences? How does a criminal mind work? What makes narcissistic offenders so dangerous? And can their crimes be prevented? You’ll have the chance to discuss these and many other questions with Maximilian Pollux during the reading on board.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to buy books or have copies you’ve brought with you signed.
The programme is subject to change.
Should the event be unable to go ahead, you will be informed in good time.
